Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 August 2026. GridUnion is currently a private, non-commercial community service. The German version is authoritative.
1. Operator and scope
These terms govern use of the GridUnion website and related Discord services. The operator is Günter Hager, Wyllarweg 2, 6837 Weiler, Austria. Contact: info@gridunion.net. See the legal notice for further information.
2. Service
GridUnion provides race schedules, circuit information, profiles, teams, driver search, comments, uploads, reminders and Discord integrations. The service is free of charge and no specific availability, completeness or permanent continuation is promised. Functions and data sources may change or be discontinued.
3. Accounts and access
Some functions require Discord sign-in. You are responsible for protecting your Discord account and activity under your access. Automated abuse, bypassing safeguards and unauthorised access are prohibited. GridUnion may temporarily restrict access for security or moderation reasons.
4. Content and conduct
You may publish only lawful content for which you have the necessary rights. Harassment, hate speech, threats, fraud, spam, malware, impersonation and infringement of third-party rights are prohibited. The Community and Upload Policy also applies.
5. Licence for user content
You retain your rights. To the extent required to operate, display, moderate and technically deliver the service, you grant GridUnion a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to store, technically adapt and display your published content within GridUnion. The Community and Upload Policy explains the scope and termination of this licence.
6. Moderation and reports
GridUnion may remove content, restrict functions or suspend accounts when rules or law are violated, a substantiated security risk exists or legal review is required. Send reports and appeals, including the exact URL and reasons, to info@gridunion.net.
7. Third parties and external data
GridUnion is independent and is not officially affiliated with the simulators, racing series, circuit operators or Discord. External schedules, images, trademarks, links and APIs may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable. Third-party services are governed by their own terms.
8. Warranty and liability
Schedules, start times and other information are for guidance and must be checked against the official source before participation. GridUnion remains liable as required by law for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, liability is limited, where legally permitted, to foreseeable damage resulting from breach of essential obligations.
9. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing, Discord OAuth2 and your rights.
10. Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated for future use when functions or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated appropriately. Austrian law applies while mandatory consumer protections and statutory jurisdictions remain unaffected.
