1. Organizer and independence
The promotion is organized by GridUnion. Contact: info@gridunion.net. Full operator information is available in the Legal Notice.
GridUnion is independent. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, Studio 397, Motorsport Games, RaceControl or Discord. Their names and trademarks identify the available prize options only.
2. Promotion period and milestone
The promotion begins only when GridUnion publicly announces that it is live. It closes when GridUnion has verified 50 genuine, eligible teams. The draw will be made from those first 50 verified teams within 14 days after the milestone is confirmed.
The homepage counter is a preliminary activity indicator, not confirmation of entry. Final eligibility is checked at the milestone snapshot.
3. Who can participate
Participation is automatic and free for a qualifying team. The team owner or designated prize contact must be at least 18 years old and legally able to receive the prize in their jurisdiction. People administering the draw and members of their households are excluded.
At the verification date, the team must:
- have at least two distinct, active human drivers, each using an authentic GridUnion account;
- have a complete team profile with a unique team name, logo, meaningful description, primary simulations, racing classes, region and working contact details;
- have the GridUnion Discord bot installed and connected to a Discord server genuinely used by the team;
- have an active Discord community rather than an empty or newly created shell server;
- have every registered active roster member complete their public driver profile, including a profile image, nationality and relevant racing information;
- have every registered active roster member submit at least one genuine circuit rating and one genuine livery rating; and
- remain in good standing under the GridUnion Terms of Service and Community Policy.
4. One genuine team, one entry
Creating multiple, duplicate or inactive teams only to increase the chance of winning is prohibited. Shell teams, cloned rosters, fake accounts, automated activity, empty Discord servers and substantially identical teams controlled by the same people may be merged for entry purposes or disqualified. GridUnion may request reasonable evidence of genuine team activity.
5. Draw and winner
One winning team will be selected from the final eligible pool using a documented random method. Every eligible team receives one equal chance; points, ratings and other activity do not increase the odds once eligibility is met. A record of the pool and draw result will be retained for verification.
6. Prize
The winning team chooses one prize with a value of €50: iRacing credits delivered using an available official gift or credit mechanism, or the equivalent value for RaceControl in Le Mans Ultimate where technically available. The owner may nominate one active roster member's eligible platform account for delivery.
No cash alternative is offered unless GridUnion decides that the selected platform prize cannot reasonably be fulfilled. The prize is non-transferable outside the winning team. Any personal tax obligation of the recipient remains their responsibility; the organizer remains responsible for taxes imposed on the organizer by law.
7. Contact and 48-hour claim window
GridUnion will contact the team owner and available authorized team contacts through the team's linked Discord connection and may also use the email address associated with the relevant GridUnion account. The team must respond within 48 hours and provide the information reasonably required to deliver the prize.
If the selected team cannot be reached, does not respond within 48 hours, declines the prize or fails final verification, a replacement will be selected at random from the remaining eligible teams.
8. Fairness and disqualification
Profiles and required activity must remain genuine and complete until the prize is awarded. GridUnion may remove manipulated ratings, duplicate accounts or fraudulent entries and may disqualify a team for abuse, false information or attempts to interfere with the draw. Decisions will be documented and applied consistently.
9. Privacy
GridUnion processes account, team, Discord connection and eligibility data to verify entries, conduct the draw, contact the winner, prevent abuse and deliver the prize. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy. A winner's identity will not be publicly announced without consent or another valid legal basis. Teams may opt out before the draw by contacting GridUnion.
10. Changes, availability and liability
GridUnion may pause, modify or cancel the promotion only where a compelling legal, security or technical reason makes fair operation impossible. Material changes will be published here and will not be applied retroactively to disadvantage valid entrants without good reason.
GridUnion is not responsible for outages or changes to third-party platforms outside its control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence or personal injury.
11. Applicable law
Austrian law applies, without removing mandatory consumer protections or jurisdiction rights in a participant's country of residence. The documented draw result is final to the extent permitted by law; statutory rights remain unaffected.
